Make Your Own Mountain House Meals for Under Fifty Cents a Serving
Robert Studer "The Recycled Prepper" teaches you how to make your own Mountain House single serving style meal's for under fifty cents per serving. All you need is recycled Koo-Aid or any type of single serving juice pouch made of Mylar.
Food vacuum sealer and a package of your favorite side dish whether its noodles or rice.
Preparing Your Mylar Juice Pouches
Preparing the pouches:
1)cup top off
2) Wash & Dry
3) look for where the hole is to punch the straw through the pouch. There is plastic in and around the hole on the inside. Remove all plastic so it doesn't get in the food.
Preparing the Side Dish Mix
Preparing the side dish mix
1) Get a bowel and strainer or sifter
2) Open mix and pour into strainer that is over top of the bowel
3) Using a spoon stir mix so as to separate the powder into the bowel below thus leaving only noodles or rice in the strainer.
Fill Pouches With Flavor Powder
Now that the noodles or rice and flavor powder are separated spoon equal portions of the powder into 4 of the pouched. This should give even distribution of flavor mix between the 4 pouches.
Add Noodles to Pouches
Add noodles to the pouches.
Seal Pouches With Vacuum Food Sealer
Seal pouches with vacuum food sealer. Now you are done.
You can use whatever prepackaged side dish you want whether it be noodle, rice or potato based.
Put some in your Bug-Out Bag for emergency rations.
