ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS STORAGE BOXES!!! (1).png

ABOUT!!!

Doing some electronic projects recently I run out of space for storing scraped electronics. So I thought why not make some myself. This ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS mini storage box is very simple and easy to make. In the next steps, I will show you how you can make one for yourself.

Supplies

*GLUE GUN

*RULER(for cutout markings)

*PENCIL(for cutout markings)

*A exacto knife (optional) OR BLADE.

BUILDING THE COMPARTMENTS (MINI STORAGE BOXES)!!!

Using the template which is given below .cut out the cardboard with using a box cutter or exacto knife I recommend using a ruler to guide your knife. Simply align the ruler with the drawn-out line and cut alongside. It's easier and gives a clean and straight cut. When it's all cut out its time to glue everything together with a glue gun.

use the "BOTTOM" piece as the base. First, glue the two "SIDE" pieces on to the "BOTTOM" piece. Glue the "BACK" and "FRONT" pieces on to the U-shaped structure. When the glue cools down you will have a finished compartment. You need nine of those for this project.

Bulding the Shelve!!

As in the previous step, you could use the template to outline the shape on the cardboard. Using a box cutter or exacto knife cut out the shape. Again, I recommend using a ruler to guide your knife. Try to cut as exact as possible, especially the middle parts, because there are were the shelves, will be joined together.

BUILDING THE ENCLOSURE!!!

In this step, we will outline and cut side panels, top and bottom panel, and back panel for the enclosure. Using the templates outline the shape of panels, and cut them precisely as possible. The blue lines in the template represent where you should glue the shelves on the panels. Again, I strongly recommend using the ruler to guide your cut. When you cut everything out you should have shapes like in the pictures.

In the next step, we will glue everything together.

ASSEMBLING EVERY THINGS!!!

Now its time to glue everything together.

First glue the left and right panels, and then the top and bottom panels. Use the blue lines from the template to figure out where to glue the shelves. In the end, glue the back panel. All that's left to do is to put the boxes inside and you have your mini storage compartment. You could use it for storing jewelry, electronic components or some other small items.I used it for storing scrap electronic components!!!!
