Make It Small Competition

I made a tiny house that is two stories with dimensions of 20'x10'x12'. This tiny home houses 4 people with two beds on each floor. There is one bathroom on each floor and a small television on each floor as well.

Making the Walls

This was the very first step and I decided to have the floor dimensions as 20 feet by 30 feet.

Adding the Inside Materials

I added many things from the content browser including: beds, toilets, sinks, windows, doors, oven, tables, chairs, etc. The windows were put in place to give the house natural sunlight so you don't have to use the inside lights all day.

Making It Two Story

At this point, all of the materials are placed on the inside of the house and now there is the process of placing the 2nd story on top of the 1st story. After doing that, I went ahead and built a staircase to get from one story to the next.

Making It Realistic

At this point all I had to do was add the roof to the house and then layout elevation images for the walls and roof so I could go ahead and laser print foam core board to make a real life 3D model. The roof is a major part of this process because without it, rain and other sorts of weather could destroy the house's interior.

Building the 3D Model

From the dimensions that I used in AutoCAD, I went ahead and made a 3D Model made out of foam core board to illustrate a realistic picture of my tiny home.
