Magnetic Card Phone Stand

Hey this is my phone stand. I used a laser to cut the wood to its shape for the stand and the base that holds the pieces together. You will need access to a laser printer to complete this the way I did.

Things You Will Need:

Wood (.115 in thick)

1/8 in diameter magnets

Glue

Access to Laser Printer

AutoCad and Corel Draw 10 software

DXF File

Hammer

Magnetic Holder

Use the attached dxf to print the stand using Corel Draw 10 software. Adjust the notches for your phone specifically, this one is made for the iPhone 6. Make sure to change the color for the holes for the magnets. The laser speed should be 2% speed at 100% power for the black lines, and 15% speed and 100% power for whatever color you chose. MAKE SURE THERE IS NO OUTLINE OR THE OUTLINE IS THE SAME COLOR FOR THE CIRCLE.

Assemble all tools to place magnets in holes. Make sure you pair magnets by polarity.

First add glue into the desired spot that you want the magnet to be placed. The glue should just cover the bottom of the hole. Then place the magnetic holder on magnet and hammer the magnet into place. Do not use excessive force or you will break the wood. Remember to wipe off any glue so that the card doesn't stick together. Repeat step for each hole to complete the stand.

The stand is now complete and can fit in a wallet. To assemble, align the notches for the phone and connect the two longer pieces with the two center pieces and now you can watch movies and play games without haveing to hold your phone!
