This is a board that floats due to the power of magnets. The bolts do not hold the board up they keep it from moving side to side.

You will need...

-Lightweight wood

-Strong magnets

-5 inch long bolts

-Super glue

*you will also need a saw, drill, and hammer.

Cutting

Cut the lightweight board to fit your magnets with a couple inches to spare on each side. One board for each magnet.

Drilling

Drill two holes (about 1/2 an inch from the side) in each board that are the same size and the bolt can fit through.

Hammering

Hammer the bolts through the hole so they are sticking out on one side.

Gluing

Glue the magnets in the center of both boards so that the magnets are not attracted to each other, but pushing away from each other and wait for the glue to dry.

Finishing Touches

Glue 4 nuts on the bottom of the board so that the bottom bard is level and then put the board without the bolts in it on the bolts.
