Magical Marshmallow Emojis
Hi there,
I'm Rivka, and I'm 11 years old. I love baking and cooking. Desserts are usually my favorite! I must say I'm not the neatest or tidiest in the kitchen - which my mom gives me a hard time for :) but if I had it my way I'd be experimenting and tasting all day!
So I decided to share one of my all time favorites which I LOVE to bake - Magical Marshmallow Emojis :)
They look so good and taste even better! They literally melt in your mouth with every bite.
So lets get this party started!
Here is a list of the supplies you'll need:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- Rolling Pin
- Cup
- Baking tray with baking paper
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- Ziplock Bag
- Coconut oil
- Chocolate chips or baking chocolate
Make & Bake the Cookie Base
Grab a bowl add 1/2 cup of butter, 1/3 cup of powdered sugar, 1 egg yolk, 1 tsp of vanilla, 2 tbsp of milk, 1 1/2 cups of flour and then mix mix mix!!
Roll the dough into a ball, cover and put into the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
Sprinkle flour onto the table and rolling-pin and roll thin (about half an inch) cut out circles with the rim of a cup and re-roll and cut until all the dough is finished.
Place the circles on a baking tray with baking paper and into the oven for 10 minutes 350 Fahrenheit / 175 Celsius.
Beat the Marshmallow
In a pot add 2/3 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water and bring to boil.
In a bowl beat 2 egg whites until fluffy, add the sugar mixture and continue beating until stiff.
Puff Those Cookies Bases
Spoon the fluff into a zip-lock bag, cut the end and puff up those cookie bases making that emoji shape!
Drizzle With Chocolate
Melt the following: 10% coconut oil and 90% chocolate chips/or baking chocolate.
Stir the melted chocolate and drizzle over the Emojis.
Refrigerate for 20 minutes.
Well done you made MAGICAL MARSHMALLOWS EMOJI'S!
Enjoy!!
