Magical Magnetic Levitation Toothbrush With Light
I want to create a combination of a magnetic levitation toothbrush and light. The contactless toothbrush levitates in the center of circle light by magnetic force, which is neat, magical, and interesting. The circle light radiates ultraviolet rays inside when need to sterilize the toothbrush and also can change to different colors for many fun things. This new outlook combination can be carried for camping, traveling, or put on the table outside and inside for fun and reading. I guess young people will like it more.

Market Research
There are many electric toothbrushes in the current market. All the handles with charging batteries are straight, heavy, and boring. The long and tall toothbrushes stand on the flat small stands for charging, which are always easy to be tipped over, and toothbrush hair is stained by bacteria around. When we clean the used toothbrush, we rinse it through the tap water, which isn't clean enough to kill underlying bacteria. Some products are invented to prevent bacteria breeding by ultraviolet rays, but the hanging box should be fixed on the wall and looks unattractive.
How to keep the toothbrush neat, fit for people to handle, easy to carry, and multifunctional? My new magnetic levitated toothbrush with light maybe is a good choice.
Inspiration
I like the movie "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy very much. The ring is magic, and that image always leaves a deep impression on people. Similar to that ring, the cat's eyes are intriguing and full of a kind of mystique. These mysterious images give me the idea to create a ring light with a magnetically levitated toothbrush.
Sketches
I did some sketches to express my idea.
First, the handle of my toothbrush is like a spindle, which is easy to hold for people. There's a wireless charging structure at the bottom of the handle, letting this handle be charged above the charging base contactless. The base has a wireless charging structure for the contactless toothbrush and has a cable rechargeable battery connecting with a USB cable for the circle light.
Second, I drew a section of the circle light. We can install normal colorful LED strip light outside and install half UV-C LED strip light and half normal colorful LED strip light inside. The UV-C LED strip light can radiate 220-nanometer ultraviolet rays, completely sterilizing the toothbrush within several minutes and doing no harm to people without cover, which is the newest and most practical ultraviolet ray technology in the world.
Finally, magnet chips are installed both in the toothbrush and inside of the circle light to keep the toothbrush levitate in the center of the light loop.
Modeling in Fusion 360
After sketches, I use the "create form" function to model all the parts of this product, including charging base, circle light, toothbrush, details of a button, indicator light, USB port, links of different parts, and toothbrush hair.
Then I add texture or color to the models and make them look real. As for circle light, I apply glowing material for the LED strip light with the background.
This product can be designed with different versions, such as the basic version, updated platinum version. I chose different colors for the platinum version and applied glowing aluminum metal materials in the product for comparison.

Assemble,Render and Color Study
I assembled all the parts and details in Fusion 360 and chose different colors of the metal materials to render different effects. Then I use Adobe Photoshop to study the effects of colors, which is very interesting in the rendering and coloring process.
Use Cases
This product can be used in many fun activities, such as camping, night fair, party night, outdoor exercise, picnic, reading, etc. This multifunctional combination product brings people more enjoyment during their activities, both for kids and adults.
Conclusion
Overall this is a fun product design. When I did it, I have already considered its practicability. I researched magnetic levitation, nanotechnology, UV-C LED, wireless charging, which all can apply in my project and let my design be authentic. If people can work out this project, it will have more problems to be improved and solved.
