Magic Fountain
How to make a magic fountain with daily use objects.
When you put some water in the fountain, it starts to flow.
It is amazing to see the surprised reaction of kids and adults.
This experience is based on heron's fountain invented by the 1st century AD inventor, mathematician, and physicist Heron of Alexandria.
Material
For this instructable you need :
- 3 plastic bottles with caps
- 3 long straws
- Glue gun

Then drill two holes in it.
Finally cut the top of a bottle.

Take the three long straws and cut them as followed :

Activate the Fountain
Fill the fountain with water from the top of the fountain.
For a better visual effect, I recommand to use dye to have a colored water.
Put the fountain upside down. This will fill the intermediate bottle.
