MP-1 is designed to be a new product produced by the maker of the tie fighter line. It's intended for imperial use or for security applications. It's primary form of locomotion is hovering a flight with use of thruster and wings. It's designed to be modular and multi purpose. One of is main options is a powerful comms array. On the front is a large sensor pallet that can be outfitted with a number of sensor and indicator lights. It even features a port for an optional holo projector (still under development) Inside it's main chasis is a cavernous body with mounting points host electronics and other equipment. My intent is to use metric fasteners to assemble it (mostly M3) and I had planed to model in servo mounts to manipulate the wings. I designed it so that real world electronics could easily be installed inside a 3D printed version. For the cad modeling I made use of patterns and mirrors whenever possible to make it symmetrical. I also intended to add accommodations for heat set inserts in the mounting holes to allow for repeated assembly and disassembly.
