ORIGAMI;

Origami is the art of folding paper to create shapes and figures, without using cuts or glue.

Ex: creations include planes, flowers, dinosaurs and claws.

Modular origami;

Modular origami is an art of paper folding where multiple individual paper units are folded and then assembled into a single, large structure.

Ex: create mathematical shapes like cubes, icosahedral, as well as more complex 3D objects.

Modules Overview

1, Half fold in lengthwise,

2, Half fold in breadth-wise,

3, Fold right side of paper to the fold line in middle,

4, Do the same, 3rd step in left,

5, turn over, fold down the flaps,

6, Fold down the right corner,

7, Fold down the flaps,

8, Do the same 6th step in left side,

9, Do the same 7th step in right side,

10, you'll end up with triangle fold in half and you are done.

To start make about 500 to 600 modules,

Don't worry about the quantity, just start folding and after couple of days you'll be accumulated enough pieces.

Pre Insertion

  1. Start with 2 rows of 40 modules each,
  2. Then add modules upto 15th row,
  3. Use TYPE A modules for making hood,
  4. Don't forget to apply glue,
  5. Finally stick diameter of 8 cm cardboard.

Overall Glueing

IMG_20251123_194124.jpg
IMG_20251130_160329.jpg
IMG_20251130_173805.jpg
  1. Glueing in every single module is disgusting work and also takes a lot of time to complete the project,
  2. Avoid this, I recommend overall glueing inside the structure is a good one.

Connector Making

  2. Add modules as same as up to 5th row,
  3. Then reduce then with modules in 3 arms in 2 pockets,
  4. Then add modules in normal method in 5 rows,
  5. Don't forget to glue it,
  6. Connector is in circle(bend) form,
  7. Stick it with hood with glue.

  2. Add modules again 3 & 2 each,
  3. And again add modules in the same order like 3,2,3,2,3,2...... Up to 18 cm,
  4. Use TYPE A modules for making,
  5. Don't forget to apply glue.

Tentacle Making

IMG_20251201_103626.jpg
IMG_20251201_104002.jpg
  1. Use TYPE B modules (small columns) for tentacle making,
  2. Insert modules one by one(column) up to 10cm each,
  3. Don't forget to apply glue.

  1. For stand making I use some cardboards and crackers tube(cardboard),

Stand making have lot of works, I can't explain in letters, if I try to explain it, you'll be definitely confused, but i added more images of stand making, please go through it.
