MODULAR ORIGAMI 3D PANDA

Origami is a “FUNTASTIC” paper-folding technique to do DIYs with creativity and also the best time-passing method. It doesn't require special requirements, it Just needs only semi-skilled crafters(patience) and papers. This project was also crafted in this way to time passing. I am very happy to share this with you. Let's start DIY Panda.

Supplies

Black, green, and white A4 sheets(90 GSM),
Pencil and scale,
White pencil( to mark on black paper),
Paper clips(6),
Paper knife,
White glue( fevicol),
Cardboards,
Some color papers(75 GSM).

★ The folded papers are called MODULES, These modules are used to create a project. ★ Rectangular 2.5"×1.5" papers are used to fold as modules. ★ Modules consist of left & right arms and 2 pockets.

- Take 1.5" lengthwise and 2.5" breath wise in A4 sheets, - Stack Max 10 sheets of A4 sheets and clip them, - Through this, we can get 23 rectangular papers in 1 sheet. - Confirm that the marked sheet is in front.

1, Half-fold in lengthwise, 2, Half-fold in breadth wise, 3, Fold the right side of the Paper to the fold line in the middle, 4, Do the same 3rd step on the left side, 5, Turnover, fold down the flaps, 6, Fold down the right corner, 7, Fold down the flaps, 8 & 9, Do the 6th&7th step on the left side, 10, You'll end up with a triangle, fold it in half and you are done. ★ To start, make about 500 to 600 triangular modules, ★ Don't worry about quantity, just start folding, and after a day or two, you'll have accumulated enough pieces.

- Insert that folded piece into the column (one by one),- Do this, tightened pockets of modules just expands, - Now inserting in projects is easier, - Stack 10 modules in the column.

NORMAL METHOD:~ Always remember that, Insert modules in ROWS only. ~ Insert the left pocket of the third piece into the right arm of the first piece. ~ Insert the right pocket of the third piece into the left arm of the second piece. ~ Continue these and form ROWS. INCREASING METHOD(NOT USED IN THIS PROJECT):~ Insert an empty module in every next module in the row, ~ Then insert modules in the normal method from the next row. DECREASING METHOD( USED IN THIS PROJECT):~ insert 1 module(2 pockets) in 3 arms of the modules in a row, ~ Then insert modules in the normal method from the next row.

BELLY: ~ start with 2 rows of 36 modules in each, ~ Then add modules in the normal method up to the 8th row, ~ Then bend the belly, evenly applying pressure with two hands, ~ Finally add 4 more rows by the normal method, ~ Don't forget to apply overall gluing. NECK: ~ Reduce modules with black modules by decreasing method, ~ Reduce and insert modules as long as possible, ~ Don't forget to apply overall gluing.

~ Start with 2 rows of 26 modules in each, ~ Then add 2 more rows, ~ From the 5th row, take one module as the middle and start the mouth with the black modules, remain white modules, ~ Then frequently add the nose and eyes of the panda,~ Finally close the head by decreasing method with white modules. ~ Don't forget to apply overall glue.

Gluing in every single module is frustrating to work and also takes a lot of time complete, Avoid this, by applying overall glue inside the structure is a good one.

HANDS AND PAWS

~ Insert black modules in the normal method of 2, 3, 4, 5, 4, 5, 4, 3, and 4 ~ This format forms hands and paws, ~ Don't forget to apply glue.

Take a diameter of 20 cm of cardboard and paste a colored A4 sheet of whatever you want.

~ Paste, green modules in the column(max 15 no's) as bamboo and also leaves, ~ Paste bamboo stick in panda hands.

TAIL

~ Paste 5 black modules together as tail, ~ add the tail with the back of the panda with glue.
