Hi guys,
In this instructables, I’ll show you how I constructed my own B/W and COLOURFUL mandalas and frame it.
Although it looks complicated, it's quite easy. once you know the steps.
Drawing and colouring mandala is a good stress relief and completed mandalas converted into home decor.
So let's start to create it and frame it.

Supplies

1) A pencil,
2) A compass,
3) A pro circle,
4) A ruler,
5) A set square set,
6) sketch pencils,
7) paper,
8) cardboards.

WHAT IS MANDALA:
A Mandala is a complex abstract design, that is usually circular in form, mandalas generally have one identified Center point, from which emanates an array of symbols, shapes and forms.
Mandalas can contain both geometric and organic forms, they can also contain recognizable images that carry meaning for the person who is creating it.
In essence, mandalas represent the connection between our inner worlds and outer reality.
So, designing and colouring your own mandala’s can be both inspirational and therapeutic.

CREATE YOUR OWN MANDALA:
When you create your own mandala, think of it is an echo of your soul.
Drawing and colouring a mandala can be a highly enriching personal experience in which you look inside yourself and find the shapes,
Colour and patterns to represent anything from the current state of mind to your most deeply-desired wish for yourself, for a loved one, or for humanity.
Mandalas are great tools for meditation and increasing self-awareness.
Your mandala is yours, and you have the freedom to use your creativity to create a mandala drawing and colour it, that is uniquely you.
Once you know the basic steps of how to draw and colour a mandala, you can try now new designs and a new colour each time to a new mandala.

HOW TO DRAW MANDALA

You don't need any special material, expect your patience to draw a mandala and colour them.
All you need is paper, pencil, ruler, eraser, compass and colour pencils.
Let's start with 30*30cm chart paper and mark it's Center,
Once you have drawn the dot in the center of your square sheet, draw a 6cm circle with that center point help of compass.

START IN a POINT ( ZERO DEGREES )

Let's start to draw a mandala circle with the base circle at a point of the base circle where passes through the center point.
Draw 6 circles in the base circle’s circumference and take as the centre of previous circles endpoint and base circles circumference.
For the understanding purpose, I use different colour pencils, you guys may use a single pencil.

CONTINUE IN 30° - 2nd SET

Then, start at 30°, as the center of the base circle circumference, draw 6 circles without changing that 6cm.
This makes 2nd set of mandala.

CONTINUE IN 15° - 3rd SET

As same as before, take 15°, the center of the base circle's circumference, draw 6 circles in a radius of 6cm.
Take as the center of previous circles endpoint and base circles circumference.
This makes 3rd set of mandala.

LAST SET OF MANDALA IN 45° - 4th SET

Same as before take 45°and draw 6 circles in a radius of 6cm.
This 25 circles (include base circle) forms a pedals of a flower shape.

DIVIDE MANDALA CIRCLES

Draw a circle from center of the base circle, where two mandala circles are meet.
Totally 10 circles are drawn to divide pedals.
These circles haven't dimensions.

There are no rules for colouring mandala drawing, it's full of drawer’s wish.
I coloured my mandala drawings one is B/W and another one COLOURFUL.

BORDERS

Without Borders, drawing hasn't complete.
Borders give a pleasant and beautiful look to drawings .

To framework, I select cardboard to make it.
It consists of two parts of the frame base and frame,
Take 40*40cm cardboard to form a frame base,
Also, 40*40cm to frame with 4cm on each side and cutaway to make an inner square and make the frame shape.

PEELED CARDBOARD SHEETS

To better frame finish, like wood, use peeled cardboard sheets from cardboard.
These cardboard sheets are stiffer so that they give good and extra finish when fold it.
Use these peeled cardboard sheets to the inner and outer side of the frame and make a good finishing to frames.
Mark on cardboard sheets by using a ballpoint pen deeply and make an impression, then fold it via that impression and use it for better finish.

INNER SQUARE

From 40*40cm of frame cardboard on each side take 4cm, make an inner square, cut it away.
This square holds mandala drawing,
Use peeled cardboard sheets and glue it up with cardboard frame to better finish.

STICK DRAWING WITH BASE FRAME

With the help of glue place mandala drawing with frame base,
Place the drawing at the center with frame base gives a perfect look while hanging .

TRANSPARENT SHEET

Transparent sheets replace the mirror on the frame.
This frame is made out of cardboard, so they are in light in weight, using mirrors on this may increase frame weight, so that transparent sheets are used here.

FIX FRAME WITH BASE FRAME

With the help of the glue fix frame with the frame base.

CORNERS

Corners give a perfect look to frames , so make sure corners are perfectly aligned.
Use peeled cardboard sheets, fold it like corners and flue it on.

OUTSIDE SQUARE (Or) FINISHED

Cover frame base and frame by peeled cardboard sheets.
This is the final step, so take extra care on this and do better finish up.
To this also use peeled cardboard sheets and glue it.
After completing all, leave the frame half-day in sunny to glue dry up.

VELCRO

This is a cardboard frame so that light in weight, so sticking velcro is enough to hold this with wall.
Stick one part of the velcro with frame and another one with the wall.
