Want to make a great impression of your sustainable energy business? Here is a great way to make some cool looking business cards that will make you look professional as a pinstriped bow tie (:
These cards were made using a laser cutter at my local hackerspace, TechShop. "I made it at TechShop"

Here is what you will need......

-Tech Shop membership http://www.techshop.ws/
- Laser Cutter
- Nice big long sheet of iron backing vaneer (this vaneer has adhesive on the back activated by a heat source, Bought from Lowes)
- Clothes iron.
- Measuring tools
- Cutting tools (X-Acto)

Prepare your vaneer.

The vaneer i am using has an adhesive on the back that is activated by  heat.
for my cards i glue two sheets of vaneer back to back with perpendicular grains on each side to increase rigidity.

Design your cards

Use a image and/or graphic GUI to Design your super cool super custom business card!!
I used Adobe Photoshop Cs5 to Design my template and optionally I used CorelDraw to vectorize my Template so my lines look nice and crisp!

Step 3

Compose, Focus, Print!

Prepare your vaneer in the Epilog laser and hit print.
You can get creative with colors by placing masking tape over your vaneer. The Epilog laser will etch through the masking tape giving you a clean and detailed mask for painting
