MAGNETIC BRACELET WITH DUCT TAPE
MATERIALS and KNOW about MATERIALS
For this instructable we need:
- Neodymium magnets
- Some magnetic pieces like washers or a metal plate
- A string or a cable to measure the perimeter of the wrist
- And duct tape (logical)
And also these basic tools:
- A ruler
- A cutter
- Something to mark like a "Sharpie"
- A hot glue gun (and glue cylinders)
--------KNOW about MATERIALS--------
Why we use neodymium magnets and where I can get one.
- We use neodymium magnets because they are cheap, powerful and easy to work with. We can get one in lots of ways, for example we can dismantle a computer hard disc, a CD/DVD player or simply buy them (they are cheap) online.

Start Using DUCT TAPE
First of all, we have to measure the perimeter of our wrist using the measuring string, write down the figure in cm. Then unroll a strip of the duct tape and I recommend to leave a couple of additional centimeters in both ends to the measured wrist perimeter and then double the total mark.
Fix the MAGNETS
In this case I have used hard disc magnet pieces. To cut them, I recommend to hold the magnet with pliers and hit a vise, so it will break only where the pliers were gripping. Put a thin layer of hot glue and fix the magnets on the marks and same with the metal plates or washers.
FLIP OVER the Duct Tape
We are almost done, but now comes the most complicated part, so after several try-outs, I had a good idea: fix a sewing thread perpendicularly with the duct tape on the last mark with a sticky big drop of hot glue, then flip over/fold and cut the string with a cutter and remove the sewing thread.
LAST SETTINGS &CO.
The bracelet is almost done, but we can always improve it, so I cut the excess of duct tape and squeeze the excess to fit it perfectly, with hot glue.
THAT'S ALL FOLKS
THIS STEP IS A LITTLE BIT USELESS BECAUSE IF YOU HAVE FOLLOWED ALL THE STEPS YOU HAVE SUCCEDED WITH A FANTASTIC AND SUPER EASY MAGNETIC BRACELET
