MADE IN HAWAII
Hi thought I share this simple tutorial with you all it's very easy to do inexpensive and the outcome is rewarding. I live right across the beach on Oahu so the beach is apart of me.When it's winter here the waves get big,and big waves brings a lot of shells to our shore. The shells we have are called PUKA shells naturally carved from the ocean that creates holes in the center of a round shell. So I gather it and save it for decoration but we'll use it to make a pair of earrings today.
Supplies
The supplies I use are fishing line around 6" two prices, earring hooks I got it from Walmart or it can be available at any craft store and shells and that's it.oh and craft beads which I purchased from Wal Mart also.
Now All the Choices.. ..
This part gets my attention slot choosing which shells to string it's so fun matching it up when I'm satisfied with the look I then tie the other side of the fishing line to secure the shells in place.
First Things First
With one peice of fishing line and earring hook I simply string one end and tie a knot or more this will be the bottom of the earring.
Then....
I am ready to choose to what color of bead I will compliment my PUKA shells with in this tutorial I chose aqua I was going for a soft look.
Here It Is...
A pair of earrings you can easily make along side of me.i hope 46 you enjoyed my tutorial and thanks again.
