I have designed a Bio Luminair , using sustainable materials, that bio-degrades over a period of time.

  1. Cotton String.
  2. Mixing Bowl.
  3. Paintbrush.
  4. Spoon.
  5. Bicarbonate Soda.
  6. Jelly.
  7. Fibre/Cloth.
  8. Soil Grains.
  9. Pan/Baking Tray.
  10. Frying Pan
  11. A pair of Gloves.
  12. Glycerine
  13. Cocunut Essence
  14. Vinegar
  15. Cornstarch
  16. Wood Chips

Bio Glue

Mix 1 Tea Spoon : Vinegar.

Mix 1 Tea Spoon : Glycerine.

Mix 1 drop : Blue & Green Food coloring.

Mix 1 drop : Coconut Essence.

Mix 2 & a half spoon : Cornstarch.

Jelly

Boil hot water & pour into pot.

Stir Jelly powder until soft and grains have dissolved.

add bicarbonate soda.

Pour into dish/bowl. Until you are ready to use.

The mixture will develop plod at the bottom of bowl, if left to dry.

Fibre Development

  1. Cut 300mm x 300mm of fibre.
  2. Apply jelly mixture.
  3. Apply wood chips.
  4. Apply Bio Glue.
  5. Apply Sand.


Sewing

  1. Use a Cotton String. 250mm
  2. Fold luminair into desired shape.
  3. Stitch Luminair together, and knot the string on both ends once complete.
