Luggage Handle Wrap

Here is a simple Sewing Project to create a Handle Wrap that can be used in Luggage's to identify them easily and also adds a smoother grip to lift them.

We would Need below Items:

1. Printed Bright colored Fabric 5.5" x 5.5" (" is inches)

2. Felt Cloth (for inner Lining ) 5.5" x 5.5"

3. A Piece of Velcro 5" in length (has two pieces)

4. Rotary Cutter and Board or Scissors (I prefer the Rotary Cutter)

5. Sewing Machine

1.Place one piece of the Velcro on the Printed Cloth at about 0.25" from the edge.

2.Sew all four sides on the Velcro to attach it firmly.

1.Place second piece of the Velcro on the Felt Cloth at about 0.5" from the edge.

2.Sew all four sides on the Velcro to attach it firmly.

1. Lay the Outer Piece of Clot flat on ground or table. Place the Inner Piece on top of the outer with the Velcro facing the Outer Piece but on the opposite Edge.

2. Sew on all three sides as shown. It now looks like a Pillow case

3. Turn it inside out and sew the last side.

Insert the Felt cloth facing up into the handle

1. Wrap the bottom side up

2. Wrap the top side down, fix the Velcro firmly

3. Rotate the Handle Cover 180 degrees (This takes the Velcro to the inside of the Handle)
