First you will nee dto make the same 'knot' as by normal lucky stars. In the prictures is shwn how to do this.
After making the knot we are going to use the paperclip. Bend it straight. Put it through the base so it is in two of the corners.

Wrapping

Now you need to wrap the paper around the base. You just wrap and wrap and the paperclip stays in it's position. Tuck the end in.

Pop-up

Take the base/paperclip between your fingers and press at the middle of a side to make it pop up. Repeat this for every side.

Remove the Paperclip

Now you can just take out the paperclip. When you look closely, you'll see the hole.

Get It on the String

To get your beads on a string, you can best take a piece of wire and make a 'needle' . Because you can flatten it a bit, it will fit through the bead.
