Love Letter Hidden Inside a Floppy Disk

I made this project back in highschool for a former boyfriend and it´s about hidding a letter inside a floppy disk.

You need:

Floppy disk
Paper and cardboard, I used only paper this time but I suggest using cardboard too(not too thick cardboard though).
a pen
scissors
wire (you can use a paper clip)
(I used white paper but you can use any kind of paper and it looks better).

First you have to open the floppy in one of the sides, not open it completly just enough to pull the thin brown disk out.

Put it on the cardboard and trace around it, cut it and with this pattern trace another 2 circles in the paper and cut them too. In the pictures i just do this on paper but cardboard works best and the paper will be just for decoration.

On the previous step I forgot to add you have to remove the metal thingy from the disk before tracing on the paper and the carboard cause you need them to have the exact shape of the disk, with holes and everything.

Now glue the pieces of paper to both sides of the cardboard and also glue the metalic thing to the paper. So you will have a copy of the disk in cardboard or paper.

Put the disk back in

Now you need the wire. Just bend it until you have a shape like the one shown in the picture, and attach it to both holes in the metal thingy to form some kind of loop. You will use this to turn the disk, so you can write on it and read it.

Write the letter. You can make your own label for the disk and the put it in a cool envelope made of newspaper!!!. It will look great. Now give it to your friend, boyfriend, girlfriend, whoever you want!!!. Don´t forget to explain to them how it works!!!.
