I needed this in my life... that's it !
All the components available on my website : https://jeje-linge.fr/en/products/lord-of-the-rings-lamp
This is pretty simple to make and everybody will stuck on this lamp.
IMPORTANT : use WHITE or TRANSPARENT PLA only.
Supplies

What you need is :
- 1 Power supply 5v 2A
- 1 Arduino Nano
- 1 Connector DC2.5
- 1 Led Ring (4 parts)
- wires 20 cm
Printing

You have to print 4 parts :
- The ring + cover
- The base + cover
IMPORTANT : use WHITE or TRANSPARENT PLA only.
I have designed several bases, choose your favorite.
Ring = > Layer : 0.1mm Infill: 0%
Base => Laker : 0.1mm Infill: 50% (minimum)
Painting (black)

Assemble the ring and its cover then paint everything in black to make it opaque.
3 layers is generaly good enough.
Be careful: Don't make the letters opaque, paint from top and bottom of the ring, not directly the letters.
Painting (gold)

Paint it in gold.
2 or 3 layers.
Solder the Led Ring

Use little pieces of metal to solder the 4 parts the Led ring.
Solder Wires

Solder wires on the 5v, GND and DN pins.
The wires should be 20 cm or more.
Push Through the Hole

Put the Led into the ring cover and push the wires through the hole of the ring.
Then close the ring and its cover.
Solder on the Nano Board

On the Arduino:
Solder wires on the 5v and GND pins.
Solder the data wire from the LED (DN) on the D4 pin.
The Connector

Screw 5V and GND from Arduino et LED ring in the connector.
Be careful of the polarity:
(+) => 5V
(-) => GND
Upload the Code

Upload the code in the Arduino.
Download the "Adafruit_NeoPixel" librarie.
Downloads
Close the Cover

Close the ring cover.
