Loom Band - Snake Charm (6 Easy Steps!)

Besides creating bracelets out of loom bands, you can also make animals, for instance, snakes! Enjoy and any questions please write it in the comment section:)

You will need:
1) Loom (it’s alright if my loom isn’t the same as yours)
2) Loom Bands (I use purple, orange, yellow and black)
3) A hook

Starting on the right-hand side, place a SINGLE red band on the 1st and 2nd peg. This will be the tongue. Then, place FOUR purple bands on the 2nd and 3rd peg. Continue for two times. Next, twist a SINGLE black band on the 3rd peg twice. This will be the eyes.

On the 5th peg, place TWO yellow bands and stretch them onto the 6th peg. Continue all the way down. Remember to always take TWO bands. You may choose any colour you like to make it colourful:)

When you’ve reached the bottom of the right-hand side, just continue to the middle pegs. (Refer to Picture 1). Continue all the way up. When you think that it’s long enough, twist a band on the last peg thrice. This is a cat band.

Turn the loom around. Starting on the middle pegs, reach your hook into the cat band and pull the bottom two purple bands up and onto the peg above. Continue your way up. When you’re about to go the left-hand side, pull the orange band and up to the top left-hand peg.

Turn the loom around to make it easier to loom. Continue your way up. When you’ve reached the black band (the eyes), reach under it to pull the purple band up and onto the peg above. Resume looming. For the tongue, grab the bottom red band up and also the other end (the one on the top right-hand peg) so you have both loops on your fingers/hooks. Push one end into the other and pull it tightly so it’s shaped like a noose. (Refer to Picture 3)

Hold the loop-shaped tongue tightly and pull your bracelet off the loom. Your snake charm is complete! When you’re done, you can make more, using colours of your own choice!
