Make amazing packaging with leftovers paints/ nail paints, papers, cardboards lying at home.

You Will Need

Measurements

To make the base box, measure the length, width and height of your gift approximately. Now make a box as shown. Cut along the green lines and fold along the blue ones.

Folding

Start folding so that you form the box as shown. Glue the triangular edges to the sides of the box to secure the edges.

Base Is Done!

You should make something like this. Now that the base is made, let’s make the lid.

The Lid

5.jpg

To make the lid, on another sheet mark the same length and width of the gift as before but reduce the height by a centimeter or more. Also to add sturdiness to the base take another sheet and cut it equal to the length and width of the gift.

Decorate!

Decorate these sheets a bit. I have made a polka dot pattern, with nail polish. You can use paints as well. Keep going till you complete decorating both the sheets. You need not be precise, just have fun with it!

Make the Base Sturdy

Now take the smaller sheet, and stick it to the base of the box. You can make it sturdier by adding a layer of cardboard in between.

Complete the Box

Now take the bigger sheet and make the lid as the base you made before. Remember the height of this box would be smaller than the base box. Now that your base and lid are ready you are quite there.

Create a Tag

Use some cardboard to make a tag for your gift.

Assemble

Put all the contents together, and voila! here is your box. It’s quite simple when you do it. Good luck! Happy gifting
