Little Kitchen Helper

I made a step up for my 2 year old daughter who wants to help with the dishes real bad( let's hope it stays that way for the next 16 years). I used an ikea bekvam step and a old stair guard.

Make the Fence.

Measure the top step and cut the old (broken) stair guard to the right size. Make sure you sand it real smooth and round al the corners as much ad possible. Then screw the fence on the top step from underneath so you wont see the screws.

Make a Back Guard.

Make a guard rail at the back to prevent falling out. Just countersink the screws and let them be in sight, so you can unscrew when your kid gets older. Now it's finished and enjoy cooking and baking with your Kids mine loves it, so will yours.
