Little Trash Can

Repair and reuse contest, with this task I made a little trash can with a paddle. It can be used for desks, kitchen table top, coffee tables, dressing tables, bedside tables. It can also storage cosmetics and toiletries to keep your countertop neat.

• Scissors
• cardboard
• pencil
• ruler
• glue, wood glue
• white paper or black paper

First, you have to cut the cardboard to a piece that is measured 8x5 cm by 6 cm

• cut two little square pieces the size you think it be right, make holes with a tooth pick so it can go trough
• make the paddle 8x3
• Than make sure that you put the tooth pick through the paddle
• cut both ends of the tooth pick

• Cut a piece of cardboard that is 6x 13cm and glue it as the back
• Now do two pieces which those will be the sides, cut them 8.5x 13cm
• make the front piece 8.5x 13 cm but also cut a little square so you can see the paddle

• cut two pieces that are 8.5 x 8 cm
• now make the long pieces 8.5x 5.5 cm
• finally glue all four pieces
• And put this box inside the other box, with NO GLUE

side note, I recommend cardboard glue

• cut two circles out of black paper, those will be the eyes
• Then cut a circle with white paper like a nose and a little circle that is black
• make two little paws
• Also do two ears
• Make the top lid 8x5 cm and just glue the back
• make sure the paddle opens the lid
• Finally put the full face together as you would like
