To a kid, his or her Little Tikes table is where everything happens: breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner, playtime, and homework. Why not bring more function to your little one's table by adding a chalkboard top for notes and doodling? Chalkboard spray paint is an extremely useful invention that is beginning to spice up everyday life! Who doesn't want a large chalkboard space to doodle on?

Clean

It is important to cleanse the plastic table thoroughly to get the dirt off. Make sure it is dry before starting the painting process.

Protection

To protect the rest of the table from the chalkboard paint, use painter's tape or masking tape to cover the edges of the table. After doing so, tape trash bags all around the sides to shield the table's legs from the paint.

It is important to protect yourself, too! Wear gloves when handling the paint, along with a mask and glasses if possible. Change into clothes you do not care about so your nice outfits won't get soiled.

Spray!!

Shake your chalkboard paint for about a minute. Ready, set, spray away! Spray the chalkboard paint onto the table's surface evenly. Do about 3 coats, letting each coat dry for a few minutes in between.

Once dry to the touch, peel away all tape and trash bags. Be sure to wait 24 hours until you write on your chalkboard surface.

Now your chalkboard table is safe to be drawn on! I am sure your children will enjoy their revamped Little Tikes table. Now it is a functional space in which one can leave notes, doodle, do math, or anything the heart desires!

For cleaning: Use a wet rag to completely get rid of chalk dust.
