Perfect for St. Patrick's Day! These little gnome earrings are cute and easy to make so you can have some quick jewelry for the holiday.
Let's craft today!

Supplies

1. Fabric scraps in red and green (solids are best, but it is so tiny you can trim around big patterns)
2. Scissors
3. Glue
4. Clay in skin tone of your choice (or blue! Or purple!)
5. Clay roller and clay knife
6. Earring posts

Roll out your clay and cut out a circle big enough to cover your earring back (you can even put the earring face down on the clay and cut around it.
Cut two.

Cut Out Beard and Add Nose

With the red material, cut out a tiny triangle. Make it a bit bigger than you think you need, then check it to the little circle you cut out. Trim as necessary to make it fit the way you want. Glue the beard on the circle about 1/3rd of the way up.
Roll out a little ball of clay and attach it to the middle of the line between the beard and the face.

Cut Out Hat and Attach Earrings

Now with your green material, cut out the hat in whatever shape you like. I cut a droopy triangle shape.
Glue the hat so it meets the beard edge and goes over the edge of the nose. Instant gnome!
Glue the post to the back of the clay circle and you're done!
*To prevent fraying, rub a bit of glue on the fabric edges. Personally I think it looks kinda cool.
