Light Up Wood Box Keychain

We made a small cube keychain with symbols on each side of the box. There's an LED on the inside of the box, which can be turned on by a switch on top of the box. We made this keychain because it's a cool addition to put on bags, backpacks, etc.

Solder

Laser cut 4 x 4 x 4 cm box and 1 x 2.5 x 2.5 cm box of medium bass plywood using MakerCase.

Laser cut chosen designs onto the individual walls of the 4 cm box and 1 cm hole onto the top of box

Hot glue 4 cm box together and smaller box together

Solder the LED to the wires of the switch

Hot glue the LED through the hole on the top of the box

Cover the wires by placing the smaller box on top of the larger box. Hot glue the switch to the top of the box

Hot glue the keychain to the top of the box
