Light Hat

This is the Light Hat. It's like a light house for your head, lighting up the area around you so you don't have to use a flashlight. The best thing is it lights up all around your so your friends don't need a flashlight either!

Supplies

  • Battery
  • Tape
  • Hat
  • LED light strip

Attach the Battery

Place the battery on the side brim of the hat, making sure that the button to turn it on is facing up. Secure the battery to the hat with tape to insure the battery wont fall off.

Attach the LEDs

Plug the LEDs in to the battery and wrap the cord around the hat taping the cord to the hat every so often. After you have wrapped the cord around wrap the first layer of LEDs, taping them to the hat too.

Continue With the LEDs

After wrapping the first layer, continue to wrap the rest of the LEDs around the hat. Once you have wrapped them all the way around, put tape over all layers to connect them to the hat.

You have now made a Light hat! You can now go outside and explore in the dark without a flashlight.


(PS. you might want a counter weight on the other side of your hat from the battery to even it out and make it less likely to fall off.)
