At the moment many of use are forced to stay at home and have more time on our hands.
Spending more time at home we start to notice that something isn't right in our homes... something is missing... we don't feel enough comfortable and cosy in our place.
As time goes on we become willing to finally change that. Sometimes even single thing can make a huge difference.
Frankly many of us has to face financial difficulties and can't afford to buy all the necessary supplies or don't want to wait too long to receive them.

So, even with unusual things and without long experience in such crafting you can create something that will make your home more cozy.

You can create this light decor by improvising and using items you might already have at home. You can knit it, crochet or do something similar.

Supplies

-yarn/ rope
You can use anything what's similar to them. Choice of material depends on what how exactly you plan to use it. (Don't be afraid to improvise! You can use even the rope from water filter which contains it... wash it, dye it and you ready to go).

-knitting needles
You can variety with tools as well. You even can crochet with fingers instead of knitting with needles.

-lights
Before using lights check if they don't get hot when they're turned on in long so they wouldn't cause any danger.

For 70×30cm sheet i used (how much they might cost if i hadn't them at home and had to buy them):
-2 rolls of quite thick rope (~7€)
-2 plastic painting brushes (~1,5€)
-led lights (including batteries ~2€ )
I might have caused 10,5€.

Creating Lamp Decor

At first i tried knit inside led lamps but i chose not to because they were thin so i was afraid to rip them.
So afterward i put them from the back (i really liked it because it gives me a chance to easy change the light layout when i want to). If they are lose you can sew or tie them up.

Laying out lamps depends on their type and how exactly you plan to use the light decor.

Because this rope sheet came out really firm i will put it against the wall on my bedside table.

It can be used as earring holder or as small pin board.

So if you will be creative then you will be able to create cheap multipurpose light decor.
And because you can do it in different ways you can choose the way which will bring more joy for you.

Enjoy!
