The first thing you would want too do is brainstorm what you would want your design and shape of your cornhole board to be I recommend looking up ideas

next you would want to make a rough sketch of the cornhole board with its desired dimensions and design

next you should make a 3d model of your board to have a better visualizer of the board you are making i suggest using AutoCAD as well as design and 3d print a box to keep the Arduino board in (box is optional)

using your 3d model and sketches measure out the amount of wood you will need to create is and then begin cutting and assembling and connecting the parts using wood glue

make sure you set your Arduino boards code to do any light pattern you want put your led strip on the underside on the cornhole board
