LibreOffice Base Tutorial - Part 3

In this part, we continue to work with our database. We will try to avoid writing the old date from the old record. The new record should get the current date automatically.

To avoid writing the date to the new record, we will not allow the date-field be included with the copied record. This can be done by excluding the column in the table-control.

But, we will not be able to show the date field easily. We need to make another sub-form and another table-control to show the date-field.

This is not so good .. But I have no other way to solve this problem. If you have any suggestion, please let us know.
