Levitating Ping Pong Ball

In this instructable you'll learn how to make a device that you can wear that can levitate a ping pong ball with the help of a hairdryer or compressed air

You will need:

1. Ping pong ball
2. Hairdryer
3. Extreme focus
4. Good balance
5. Air tank (PVC pipe that had a bicycle tyre valve at one end and a butterfly valve at the other)
6. Flexible pipe
7. Cork
8. Tyre valve
9. 30cm X 2cm PVC pipe
10. 9 volt battery and snap
11. LED
12. Wire

Meditate

Clear your mind

Turn on the hairdryer and become one with it

1. Place the hairdryer facing upwards 90* to the floor
2. Turn the hairdryer on to its maximum setting
3. Hold the ping pong ball about 5cm above the nozzle of hairdryer and then let go of the ball
4. The ping pong ball should start to float and maybe even spin
5. If you aim the hairdryer a degree or two to the side, the ping pong ball should start to spin and the faster it spins the better.

1. take the cork and cut a 5mm hole in the center
2. Glue the bicycle tyre valve in the hole and make sure it is air tight and glue it in the pipe
3. Attach the butterfly valve to the other end of the pipe
4. Attach the flexible piping to the other end of the butterfly valve
5. Close the butterfly valve and pump
6. Don't use too much pressure or it might explode
7. PVC plastic doesn't show up on x-ray so be careful!!!!!!!!!
8. Glue the led to the end of the pipe to illuminate the ping pong ball
9. Connect the battery and battery snap to the led and you are done!!!
