Lesson 3: Bottle Painted Flowers

bottle flowers 1.jpg

Hello there, hope you're doing well.

In today's lesson I we'll be aiming to teach you how to paint flowers using a bottle base.

This lesson is easy and only needs 4 tools to make.

It is great for those who enjoy painting.

Giving you an outcome that we'll leave you proud of your pretty bottle flowers.

Supplies

  • Paper
  • Paint brush
  • Paints: Any kind we'll work.
  • Bottom of a bottle: A cola bottle would be most effective.

Step 1: Paint the Petals

Place some paint into a small dish then take the bottom of a pop bottle, preferable one with points and not a smooth bottom one.

Then place the bottom into the paint then dab onto the paper.

Don't worry if some of the paint is thin in places as you can paint them back on again.

Step 2: Paint the Inside of the Flowers

Once the paint is dry, take a small paint brush and place a dot in the centre. This colour is the centre of the flower and can be any colour you like.

Step 3: Paint the Flower Leafs and Stem

Then using any shade of green, paint the flower stem and leaves.

If you prefer you could use any colours for the leaves and stem if you wanted to make an autumn look.

When the paint is dry your bottle flowers are done.

This gives you a painting you can show to friends or family.

If you have enjoyed this lesson then feel free to show off your bottle painted flowers or check out my other online art lessons.
