Print and Assemble
- Print the thing as supplied posture. No support needed.
- A bit finer layer height would be better to form precise thread (ex. 0.15mm per layer)
- To fix the adapter to the lens securely, use 2mm tapping screw.
How to Use
Open the aperture as wide as possible (smallest F-number).
FAQ
Q1: Is the magnification ratio?
A1: magnifcation ratio = (focal length of the lens) / 30
Q2: Which lens can we use?
A2: You can use any F-mount lenses with aperture ring. Since G-type or E-type lenses have no aperture ring, the aperture is closed when the lens ls detached from the camera body.
Q3: What conditions for F-no. of lens?
Q3. F5.6 is sufficient. Faster lens makes the eye-point more flexible.
Q4: How about adding tripod socket to the adapter?
A4: To avoid the trouble of dropping lens, I intentionally omit tripod thread or lanyard holes. Please use lenses with tripod seat.
