Lemon Squeezer

I've made a lemon squeezer from a a4 sized polypropylene sheet. I choose polypropylene because you can make hinges easily by cutting and folding the sheet and you can lasercut it.

For this project you need:

- The printed document
- A A4-sheet of polypropylene (minimal thickness 1mm)
- Markers (3 colors)
- A cutter knife
- Nail polish remover

Place the printed document under the polypropylene and start to trace the lines with the marker. Take for each other color on the document another marker color.

Start to cut out the form. Cut on the black lines. For the little circles you put the sharp point of your knife in the middle of the circle and turn around the plastic.

To make the hinges, make light cuts on the green lines.
After you make this cuts, turn around the sheet and make light cuts on the red lines.

To remove the lines use the nail polish remover or another solvent.

Fold along the light cutouts you've made.

Now put the little cutouts you've made in the sheet in each other like you can see on the picture.

First clean the squeezer. Now you can squeeze lemons quick and easy without make your hands dirty.

You can also lasercut the lemon squeezer. Most of the lines can be cut out.
Two lines still have to be cut by hand (the red lines on the document 'lemon squeezer.pdf').
Fold the can like the step above and you can squeeze your lemons.
