Lego MINDSTORMS 51515 Dragster (original Design by Me)

I made a super fast Dragster using only one motor, 4 gears and 4 wheels. It has a 5:1 gear ratio which makes it super fast! It can go 312 cm in 4 seconds!

You will need:

• A Lego MINDSTORMS 51515 Robot inventor set

key things in the Mindstorms set:

• 1 motor
• 2 gears (8 teethed gears)
• A Mindstorms hub (The big electronic box)
• 2 big wheels
• 2 small w&b wheels

Other gears:

• 2 gears (40 teethed gears)
• Or, another big gear in the set

Make a narrow platform on the bottom to support the whole car, and make the front wheels and the bumper. Afterwards, put the hub on the back of the car. On top of the hub, add the rear wing.

Now attach the gears as well as the back wheels and for an additional decor, add a extra gear on top of the wheels.

I set the code to go on full speed by using the speed control block, and the rotation block to set how long the motor will be spinning.
