Lego Coin Box

Here are instructions for an easy lego coin box that is hard to break open but easy to open if you know how to open it up.

Supplies

Lego bricks
Lego plates
technic pieces
Money to put in

Base Layer

Make this easy base by following the pictures and then add on the first layer.

Next Few Layers

Follow the pictures and add on these next layers. When you finish with a layer, whack it a couple times with the handle of a screwdriver. That helps it stick together well.

Last Couple Layers, Roof and Coin Slot

Make the last layers and then build the roof and attach it, then make the coin slot.

Make the door by following the shown pictures, then slide it in and get these next three needed pieces. Put the longer rod in the lower hole and push it in all the way, then put the shorter rod in the top hole and slide it in all the way. Once you finish with those things assemble the key ejector, which is nice and simple and works well.

Unlocking

To unlock your coin box, first eject the key by pressing on the jumper plate and it will slide out. Then put the key in all the way into the right hand side of the lower hole set, if you did this right, the rod inside will slide out and then you can pull it out the rest of the way. once you do that, put that axle in the top hole set and push the other rod out far enough for you to pull it out. Once you pull both rods out you must pry the 2x8 from the front of the door and then you can open your simple Lego coin box.Now go out and spend your money on jelly beans.
