Lego Clutch and Crank System

This is my lego clutch and crank system, it is a simple creation of a clutch that controls an output( in this case the wheels) by disengaging a gear system.

Supplies

Some lego gears
Some lego wheels
Two rubber bands
Some axles of different lengths
Technic pin connectors
Some bricks and plates

Build the basic idea of what you see in the pictures and make sure the clutch pin is loose from the axle but still fixed in place by axle discs.

Rubber Bands and Lever Housing.

Build the back part of the pin wall with the holed one by two on it and place it by the pin. Then get a rubber band and put it around the clutch pin, then attach it to the holed 1 by 2. That will keep the pin in an engaged position to default.
Then build the clutch lever and the second pin wall then the back wall and front wall. Then get another rubber band and attach it to the direct wheel. Then put it around the small axle disc and put those in holed bricks. You may need to adjust the distance between the wheel and the axle disc.

Finishing and Testing

Get these pieces and put them on as shown and your done with the build. Turn the crank when the lever is in default and the system is engaged, the wheels and belt and the output is moving. Engage the lever into active position and you'll find that when you turn the crank nothing happens. To re-engage the system, just let go of the lever and the gears should start grinding and the output will once again move.
