Zelda step 3.jpg
On the plywood, draw out the shield and then go over the pencil with a sharpie.

After drawing out the shield, lay down the masking tape and use the utility knife to cut out the shape of each detail.

After you have finished cutting the masking tape to fit the details, carefully peel off the tape and place it onto another piece of plywood. Then cut out the shape.

Zelda step 7.jpg
Cut out the outer rim and apply it to the main cut out that has the taped details on it.

Use the clamps to hold down the wood.

Zelda step 8.jpg
Peel off all of the masking tape stencils and spray paint the whole shield navy, (the navy will act as a primer for the silver.)

Once dry apply masking tape to the edge of the blue and where the silver paint will be applied.

Use the masking tape stencils to cut out the details and spray paint them the desired color before gluing them into place.

In the end it should look like this.

Once finished you can go the extra step as to sand down the edges of the shield.
