Protect your nice sunglasses with a customized (and beautiful!) leather pouch. Use your laser to cut out the design and then engrave it with your own personality.

You need...

- leather (around 10"x10")

- microfiber cloth (around 10"x10")

- needle and thread

- adhesive

- paint optional and not used in this instructable

Laser Engrave & Cut Your Design

Download our design file (PDF or SVG) and insert into your laser program. Laser cut out the outline of the pouch and raster engrave your outer design of choice. Utilize the "Leather Sunglass Pouch" file for the leather and "Leather Sunglass Pouch Microfiber Liner" to cut out the liner material.

Clean Your Leather

Your cut and rastered piece of leather may look slightly bowed and dirty after going under the laser. Use a damp rag and wipe down the piece to make it look as clean and new as the second photo.

Attach the Microfiber to the Leather

You'll want to use adhesive to join the microfiber cloth (there to protect the lenses of your glasses) to the leather using an adhesive. The best for fabric are industrial spray adhesives and you'll use it as directed on the bottle.

Stitch the Edges Together

After allowing the glue to set and dry completely, you'll take the needle and thread and stitch the edges of your pouch together as shown in the photo.

And there you go! You have a gorgeous leather sunglasses pouch for even the rockiest of roads!
