Fit leather presser foot and leather needle onto sewing machine. Place black cotton reel and black cotton bobbin to machine. Overlap lace onto edge of leather strip (1/4 inch) and sew lace down, allowing for zigzag on excess to be trimmed off.

Mark leather where snaps are to be placed. Punch holes using the eyelet tool. Read snap setter instructions carefully, on how to place snaps in snap setter. When snaps are in place on marked places on the leather, hit them in place with small hammer or rubber mallet, ensuring that the snaps are secured.
