Hello, today i'm going to show you guys how to design a 3D pawn with tinkercad because sometimes we lose pieces that we never find, so me i created the pieces with cardboard or paper but it was ugly and delicate and i search ways to make it better so i started to try to make it with tinkercad but with the easiest way so that everyone can redo it at home to share it with you. So i make in attach file for you to download at home.

You need just a tinkercad account so to that you need to
- Open tinkercad.com in your navigator.
- Choose between login or sign up: login if you already have an account and sign up if you don't.
- Then you click to personal account and you choose the way to sign up or log in.
Base
![new.png](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/FBU/1NC6/LC4T7VWR/FBU1NC6LC4T7VWR.png&filename=new.png)
![workshop.png](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/FPY/ZP6S/LC4T7VWX/FPYZP6SLC4T7VWX.png&filename=workshop.png)
![cylinder.png](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/FMK/NTZU/LC4T7VWG/FMKNTZULC4T7VWG.png&filename=cylinder.png)
![cylinder axe.png](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/F8K/6FRH/LC4T7VWE/F8K6FRHLC4T7VWE.png&filename=cylinder axe.png)
![cylinder sides.png](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/F1J/RRY2/LC4T7VWF/F1JRRY2LC4T7VWF.png&filename=cylinder sides.png)
To make the base of the shape you need to:
- Create a new project,
- Then, when you are in the workshop, generate a cylinder.
- Cylinder size: X: 16mm, Y: 16mm, Z: 5mm.
- Put the sides of the cylinder to 60 to smooth the sides.
Cone
![cone.png](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/FLW/EHBL/LC4T7VWC/FLWEHBLLC4T7VWC.png&filename=cone.png)
![cone sides.png](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/FKE/GCW8/LC4T7VWB/FKEGCW8LC4T7VWB.png&filename=cone sides.png)
To make this cone:
- Generate a cone;
- Cone size: X: 15mm, Y: 15mm, Z: 14.40mm.
- Put the sides of the cone to 60 too.
Half Sphere
![half sphere.png](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/F8Z/4ZZF/LC4T7VWN/F8Z4ZZFLC4T7VWN.png&filename=half sphere.png)
![half sphere axe.png](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/F6C/CFDP/LC4T7VWM/F6CCFDPLC4T7VWM.png&filename=half sphere axe.png)
![align1.png](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/FAS/76TM/LC4T7VW4/FAS76TMLC4T7VW4.png&filename=align1.png)
![group1.png](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/FMJ/8HBJ/LC4T7VWK/FMJ8HBJLC4T7VWK.png&filename=group1.png)
To make this shape:
- Generate a half sphere,
- Half sphere size: X: 10mm, Y: 10mm, Z: 18mm.
- Align it with the cone.
- Group both to have this shape.
2nd Shape
![base.png](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/FUK/T1KG/LC4T7VW6/FUKT1KGLC4T7VW6.png&filename=base.png)
To make this shape:
- Pull up the group of the cone and the half cylinder to 2mm;
- Then align it to the first cylinder we made,
- And group all to give this shape.
Cone 2
![cone 2.png](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/FZA/4YC3/LC4T7VWA/FZA4YC3LC4T7VWA.png&filename=cone 2.png)
![2 cones.png](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/F8O/EBV8/LC4T7VW3/F8OEBV8LC4T7VW3.png&filename=2 cones.png)
![cone2 make.png](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/FA6/LC3G/LC4T7VWD/FA6LC3GLC4T7VWD.png&filename=cone2 make.png)
To make this:
- Generate a cone again,
- Cone size: X: 8mm, Y: 8mm, Z: 2mm.
- Copy and past the cone but you can copy and past it easier by choose the cone and do "Crtl+c" and "Crtl+v".
- Then you have to rotate one of the cone to 180°.
- Pull up the other cone to 6mm.
2nd Cylinder
![cylinder2.png](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/F8R/UUO0/LC4T7VWH/F8RUUO0LC4T7VWH.png&filename=cylinder2.png)
![group2.png](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/FWE/1P8C/LC4T7VWL/FWE1P8CLC4T7VWL.png&filename=group2.png)
To make this shape:
- Generate a cylinder.
- Cylinder size: X: 8mm, Y: 8mm, Z: 2mm.
- Pull the cylinder up to 2mm.
- Align the cylinder with the cone thar we rotated to 180° and group.
- Then align with the cone that we pulled up to 6mm.
- Pull down the cone to 4mm.
- And group all to give this shape.
3rd Shape
![align2.png](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/FKC/S6F7/LC4T7VW5/FKCS6F7LC4T7VW5.png&filename=align2.png)
![base2.png](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/FG3/WFPD/LC4T7VW7/FG3WFPDLC4T7VW7.png&filename=base2.png)
To make this shape:
- Pull up the previous shape to 17mm.
- Align with the 2nd shape and group to give this shape.
Head
![cylinder3.png](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/FZD/FSSP/LC4T7VWI/FZDFSSPLC4T7VWI.png&filename=cylinder3.png)
![sphere.png](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/F7V/NUBG/LC4T7VWT/F7VNUBGLC4T7VWT.png&filename=sphere.png)
![sphere2.png](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/FNT/DL2Y/LC4T7VWU/FNTDL2YLC4T7VWU.png&filename=sphere2.png)
To make the shape:
- Generate a cylinder,
- Cylinder size: X: 6mm, Y: 6mm, Z: 5mm.
- Put the sides of the cylinder to 60.
- Generate a sphere.
- Sphere size: X: 10mm, Y: 10mm, 10mm.
- Put the steps of of the sphere to 24.
- Pull up the spher to 1mm.
- Align with the cylinder and group to give this shape.
Last Step
![base3.png](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/FN6/5NEY/LC4T7VW8/FN65NEYLC4T7VW8.png&filename=base3.png)
![FWAWHJ8LC4T7VWJ.png](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/FQA/FM5G/LC7O56WA/FQAFM5GLC7O56WA.png&filename=FWAWHJ8LC4T7VWJ.png)
Finally :
- Pull up the previous shape to 21mm.
- Align with the basic shape and group to have like this.
The pawn is finished right now.
Finished Project

So this is the pawn when it is over;
- You can change the color of the pawn by pressing the shape and the circle with the color.
So I show you the result if i open this with 3D viewer and Paint 3D.
I hope you enjoy this tutorial and it helped you☺. Bye
