Learn How to Make Rolling Feet Craft for Kids
In this tutorial we are going to make a very easy Walking Feet or Rolling feet craft for kids. You can make this craft during summer vacations or during lockdown. This is an awesome handmade toy craft idea for children.
Supplies
- Waste Piece of Cardboard
- Pencil
- Scissors and Cutter
- Few Color Papers - Red, Yellow and Green
- Glue
- Cellotape Roll
- Drinking Straw
- Wooden Sticks
- Glue Gun
- Fevibond Glue
Draw Foot Shape on Cardboard
Take a Piece of Cardboard. Using pencil, carefully draw a shape of a foot. Cut the foot shape and make two foot cutouts - left foot and right foot.
Cover Feet With Color Paper
Take a yellow colored paper and stick it on the feet shapes so that both the feet look yellow colored.
Make a Cardboard Roller
Take a circular cardboard shape. You can get such a cardboard from the waste roll of used cello tape. Cover this circular cardboard shape with red colored paper as shown.
Next, take a drinking straw. The straw should be hard and stiff enough. Do not take a soft drinking straw.
Stick Straw to the Circle
Cut the drinking straw into two pieces. Apply glue to the one end of straw and stick it inside the circular cardboard roll as shown. Similarly stick another piece of drinking straw at opposite side of the cardboard.
Arrangement of Feet
Now, we will attach the feet shapes to the cardboard roll. For this, take two wooden sticks and stick them on the cardboard feet shapes as shown. Before attaching the feet to the roll, let's make a small feet shape on pink color paper and stick on both the feet as a decoration.
Now, attach the feet to the drinking straws as shown.
Your Walking Feet Craft Is Ready!
Wow! Your walking feet craft is now ready. Show it to the children and they will be amazed to see how the cardboard feet are walking along with the cardboard roll.
