Learn ASL Through ORIGAMI

This is an instructable to guide you in Using origami to discover ASL ( American Sign Language).

Discover the world of signs through this creative instructable.

28 sheets of colour paper

4 glitter tape ( for decorations, not necessary)

Start by taking a a4 size paper.

Fold it into 2 equal pieces vertically.

Take one half.

Cut it into a square.

Fold the square through midline vertically and horizontally.

Fold the square diagonally twice.

The Basic steps are done. Now you have to fold it several times to get the origami shape.

For A better visual understanding, the Rest of the steps are shown in pictures below.

Now let’s make each ALPHABETS through origami in ASL.

You have made the origami hand successfully.

This is going to be a bit tricky.

For People who are familiar with ASL, it’s going to be simple.

For People who are new to ASL, it may seem hard at once.

but don’t worry, I have Attached Hand drawn alphabetic signs in neon, to make it super cool.

Remember it’s not just about following along but also to enjoy the creative process.These are hand signs we are going to create using origami.
