Here are 3 simple steps on how to make your own leaf earring! All you really need are wires, and it shouldn't take too long to make. Have fun :)

Supplies

- 0.8mm wire

- 0.3mm wire

- Earring hooks

- Round nose pliers

- Wire cutters

Step 1: Make Your Leaf Frame

First, cut the 0.8mm wire to about 15cm. You can cut your wire at any length you want, just remember that you need some length for the loop. Using the round nose pliers, bend and curve the wire to form the leaf frame. Then, wrap the shorter end around the longer end a few times to close the leaf, and with the longer one make a loop, and cut off any extra wire.

Step 2: Make the Midrib

Now, cut about 30cm (again, this doesn’t have to be exact) of the 0.3mm wire, and coil one end at the top. Pull the wire to the tip and secure it in place by wrapping it. This is the midrib of your leaf. Now, to create the veins wrap the wire on the frame a few times, and bring it back to the midrib. Do this to the opposite side too. Repeat until you get to the top, coil it at the top again and cut any extra bits off.

*While you do this step, make sure it’s as tight as you can make it without deforming the frame’s shape.

Step 3: Attach to Earring

Using pliers, attach the earring hook to the loop you created in step 1.

And now you have your own leaf earring!
