Lazy Pasta for Two

Last minute decision to have a pasta dinner with grandma's sauce and garlic bread. This meal took literally 10 minutes to put together.

Pasta

1 tbs olive oil

dash of salt

Sauce

Italian bread

Butter

Garlic salt

Asiago cheese

Add salt and olive oil to a pot of water and bring it to a boil. Measure out the amount of pasta you want and put it into the boiling water. Really thin pasta only needs a few minutes. Test the pasta either by throwing it against the wall (if it sticks, it's ready) or taste testing. Strain out water.

Garlic Bread

Preheat oven to 400 and bake buttered and garlic salted bread for 5-7 minutes.

Slice or grate your cheese. You can sprinkle it on your pasta.

Return the pasta to your pot and add in your sauce. Warm the sauce for a few minutes over medium heat and then dish.
