Lavender is fresh, relaxing and delicious! Many people forget that this amazing flower is not only great for aromatherapy but also for cooking and baking.

This time I am sharing a delicious recipe of Lavender and Mint infused olive oil. You can use it to add a floral taste to any dish: potatoes, salads, bread… you name it!

Enjoy

Your aromatic oil requires fresh and clean leaves. Wash them with water.

Dry Leaves

I know you are super excited and you want to add your leaves to the oil now but… HOLD ON! You should not add wet leaves. A fast way of drying you leaves is to put them over a napkin in the sun. In around one hour they will be dry and ready to use.

Fill the bottle with olive oil. Add herbs. Close can. Your oil will be infused with the delicious flavor of mint and lavender. You will see than in around 15 minutes the oil will start changing color. It is recommended to let set the flavor for 3 days before eating it.
