Lavastone Clock

For years I haven't had a clock at home on which I could tell time. So I have created my own clock from a lavastone and a watch. In my opinion the fact that it is a lavastone adds a atmosphere to my home and the fact that it is not only a decoration but serves a pupose add to that very well.

Supplies

Hammer x1

Chisel x1

Glue 1/4 tube

Saftey Gogges x1

Lava Stone x1

Modify the Lavastone

using the hammer and chisel you have to modify the stone so that you are able to place the watch inside. This mostly involves chiseling away edges or inconsistancies. If all edges are gone you have to start making a round hole for the watch to be placed inside.

Glue the Watch

After you placed the watch into the lavastone.you have to make it stick to it. you achieve this by placing glue on both the lava stone and the watch to make sure. After you that the watch sticks and is not tilted you have to wait approximately 10 minutes. After the glue has dried you can scratch of the glue which doesn't hold the stone and watch together.

Alternatives

If you don't have glue anothor thing you can use would be candle wax which works wuite well and is the material I used because we didn't have glue. Candle wax is easy to obtain by merely lighting a candle and witing although it might take a couple more tries it will work
