Lasercut Engraving of Atlanta United (ATL UTD) 404 Drop Made Out of Wood

this is my school personal project which is a present for my mom and since we cant afford the actual jersey so I decided to make this

Supplies

LIST OF WHAT I USED

1.rectanguler piece of wood

2.tape ( I don't know the name but I know it was blue)

3.small paint brush

4.big paint brush

5.black paint

6.white paint

7.green paint

8.blue paint

9.lazer cutting machine

10.somthing with a point to remove small pieces of tape

Find and Trace

first I looked up a image of the logo so I can trace it on adobe illustrator and I used the curvature tool to trace it

next I looked for a rectangular piece of wood then I painted it black and let it dry and then I tape it from top to bottom make sure there not over lapping and that there's no air bubbles

LASER TIME

after that is load the the traced image to laser cutting machine I used 60 watt universal laser system and next I put in the right measurements of the wood, adjust the size of the image, and put in the type of material and the your done

Take of Some Tape and Now It's Time to Paint

I used a little stick with a point to peel of the letters not the middle of them only the letter so I can paint them I used the colors blue, white, and green for the top of ATL I mixed white and blue to make a light blue and then for the bottom of atl it was dark blue but not to dark same for the UTD light on top and dark on the bottom

LOOK YOUR DONE

now your done if there is and tape left over just use the pointy stick or if there is tape left behind that you cant get just paint over it and be careful and if it came out prefect good job hope you enjoy the laser engraving
