Laser Security System

I will show you how to build a laser security system that will cost less than 10 dollars.

You will need
-a laser or laser diode
-Multiple mini mirrors depending on how large the project will be (you can find these at the dollar store)
-a laser sensor

Connect the Diode to a power supply most likely a button cell battery. I Bought a laser casing so it would be much easier to hold  and the batteries would stay in better. In this case, the casing comes with batteries so they will fit.

Hid the laser somewhere hidden at floor level where it can not be seen or noticed. This will be the key to positioning your security system.

Place you mirrors on floor level so that the laser will bounce from one mirror to the next. This will make a laser "net" so that the intruder gets caught. Place as many as you want but make sure the laser hits directly in the senter of the mirror so that the beam is able to be bounced to the next mirror. You can also take the laser from horizontal to vertical and back if you would like to cover the entrance of the room.

Once you put in all your mirrors you will take your sensor and place it at the end of the beam so that the light its it right on the sensor plate. I used the one shows which will start and alarm of its own once the laser is interupted.

All you have to do now is turn on the sensor and set up the laser and when someone walks in they will interupt the invisible laser beam and the alarm will sound. You have just made your very own laser security system.
